William Harris is a man of quiet strength. He has a great passion for sharing truth from the Bible. His various roles within TWM take advantage of his gifts of teaching and leadership. He and Paula blend their talents to present God's instruction in His Word to couples that need direction and encouragement concerning their marriage. William is able to create a non-threatening environment for those involved in group activities by being an active listener and looking for opportunities to encourage the group members.

I currently work in the Accounting and Finance Department of Ken Crest Services, a non-profit company. I reside in Chester County and I am happily married to my wife of 31 plus years. God has blessed us with three adult sons: Andre, Aaron and Arlen; along with one daugther-in-law; and three grandchildren.
At an early age I joined church, but did not know Jesus Christ as my Savior. After serving my country in the Air Force for four years, I attended Pierce College in Philadelphia and earned a degree in Accounting. Still feeling a void in my life, my aunt encouraged me to attend a week-long conference in Philly called The Institute of Basic Youth Conflicts. I heard the Gospel clearly, understanding that I was a sinner that Christ died for me (Romans 5:8) and that I was in need of a Savior. I confessed with my mouth Romans 10:9-10 and received the free gift of eternal life that Jesus offered.
The Holy Spirit began a work in my life and I wanted others to be saved and to grow in Christ, especially the youth of my community. My Pastor challenged me to win 10 souls and disciple them. Not long after that I became the full-time Youth Director at our Church. The Lord grew our group from the initial 12 to over 83 young people meeting on a Friday night.
Over the years I have served as a Trustee, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Bible Institute Teacher and Youth Director. A few years ago, my wife and I went back to school to further equip ourselves and we received Bachelor Degrees in Bible from Lancaster Bible College. I am also certified by Evangelism Explosion and ETTA.
Today I teach Sunday school at our church, team-teach with my gifted wife (Paula) dealing with marriages, and we conduct retreats and seminars regarding relationships overall. Together we have traveled throughout Pennsylvania and a variety of other states, including the island of St. Thomas. I also serve on the T.W.M. Board. In my spare time, I enjoy sports and refereeing PIAA basketball and umpire ASA slow-pitch softball.
